Where do you work as a Physio and what type of clients do you treat on a normal day?
I am currently working in private practice at a clinic called Next Wave Therapy in O’Connor. I see mostly a female caseload, however, despite my additional training in women’s health I do still consider myself a general musculoskeletal physiotherapist and really enjoy treating a wide range of conditions. I’m a strong advocate for exercise as part of a patient’s rehabilitation and utilise an amazing range of Pilates equipment including reformer, trapeze table, Pilates chair and the spinal corrector. I have the privilege of working alongside a Polestar Pilates extensive rehabilitation trained specialist musculoskeletal physiotherapist whom I receive regular mentoring from.
Which FitRight classes do you currently teach?
Currently, I am teaching Baby&Me classes in North Fremantle on a Wednesday morning. I am also teaching Baby&Me Studio and Empower Studio classes in O’Connor.
What do you love most about being a FitRight Instructor?
Being part of a movement that supports and educates women through the pregnancy and postpartum period and beyond!
