Where do you work as a Physio and what type of clients do you treat on a normal day?
Hello! I currently work as a mobile Physiotherapist with Life Ready Mobile. I help teenagers and young adults with disability achieve their fitness and life goals. I help older adults be independent again after their surgery such as shoulder cuff repair, hip/knee replacements and many more. I also work in aged care teaching falls prevention exercises and hydrotherapy classes.
Which FitRight classes do you currently teach?
Bump&Me Aqua, Baby&Me Aqua and Empower Aqua classes.
What do you love most about being a FitRight Instructor?
It is fantastic that we can provide this support to expectant and new mums in Perth. I have friends who are pregnant and I know how stressful it can be trying to stay active, wondering which exercises are safe to do and worrying about the changes that will happen before and after birth. I love how I can help these ladies alleviate their fears through education and exercise.
Personally, I am stoked to be a FitRight Aqua instructor because as an avid diver, I love being in the water and I know the benefits of being in water has for your skin, joints, mental health and overall well-being.
