Mums and Bubs Fitness Perth 

 If you’re a new mum looking to get fit or get back into your fitness now that your baby is here our post natal exercise classes have been specifically developed just for you with the added benefit of being able to bring bubs along to class with you!  

 

FitRight’s mums and bubs fitness classes are suitable for mothers with babies aged between 8 weeks (post immunisations) and approximately one year and are run across several great Perth locations – Ardross, Cockburn, Subiaco, Fremantle and Armadale. 


Description

 

FitRight’s mums and bubs fitness classes are run throughout the year as six week courses with one class held each week and two class options available (see below). 

 

FitRight’s post natal exercise classes include a 60 minute post natal pilates mat workout with a focus on optimal posture, pelvic floor muscle activation, returning abdominal muscles to their pre-pregnancy state, stretching and general toning – using exercise balls, therabands (resistance bands) and occasionally small weights. 

 

While mums do the pilates mat class our lovely community volunteers are on hand to take care of bubs, in the same area, making sure you can see and hear if your baby needs you. 

 

Mothers with multiples are welcome. Mothers with older babies are welcome to contact us to discuss. All bookings are subject to the completion of a FitRight initial assessment. Class Options

 

Baby&Me (Plus Baby Massage) 

FitRight’s Baby&Me (Plus Baby Massage) post natal exercise classes include a 20-30 minute baby massage session followed by the 60 minute post natal pilates mat class just for mums. It is ideal, but not essential, if babies are under 6 months of age for these classes.  

Baby&Me (Without Baby Massage) 

FitRight’s Baby&Me (Without Baby Massage) post natal exercise classes run for 60 minutes, and include the post natal pilates mat class described above, but minus the baby massage session. These classes are recommended for mums with babies over 6 months of age, who may be too mobile to stay still for the baby massage component!

 

 

Baby&Me courses are suitable for beginners, with intermediate options throughout for those needing an extra challenge.

Toddler&Me - Mums and Bubs Post Natal Exercise Classes

FitRight's Toddler&Me postnatal exercise classes run for 60 minutes, and include the postnatal pilates mat class, mixed with body weight resistance and low impact, high intensity interval training work.  Volunteers are usually available to supervise and occupy the toddlers in the same space.  These classes are recommended for mums with toddlers, or with younger babies who have previous Pilates/Baby&Me experience.  

 

Toddler&Me courses are at a more advanced level with some beginner/intermediate options throughout.

How Do I Book FitRight Classes?

 

See the lists below of class options to decide which one would be most suitable for you. 

 

To confirm your place in a class and receive an invoice, click on the link below to sign into your MINDBODY account and find the corresponding class. If you do not already have a MINDBODY account, you will be required to input your details and create an account. 

 

REMEMBER THAT AN INITIAL ASSESSMENT IS A PRE-REQUISITE AND YOU WILL BE ASKED WHERE YOU HAVE DONE THIS OR BOOKED THIS FOR.

 

Please note: This online booking will only be available in the two weeks before each course begins. If you are unable to see a link on MINDBODY to sign up for a particular class, but it is within two weeks before the start date, it probably means that it is fully booked. Please contact us (below) to request to be added to the waitlist.
