These are the Physiotherapy codes which are commonly used:
500 – all initial consultations (women’s health, musculoskeletal, clinical exercise and breast initial appointments and FitRight Assessments)
505 – follow up consultations (women’s health, musculoskeletal and breast follow up appointments)
505 – clinical exercise sessions (individual, duet and semi private classes)
811 – initial telehealth consultations
812 – follow up telehealth consultations
At FitRight HQ we have a hicaps machine so that you can instantly claim your rebate and just pay the gap, so please bring your private health fund card (or digital card) along to your appointment
Health Fund Rebate for FitRight Group Fitness Classes
If you have private health insurance, it is highly likely that you will receive a rebate for FitRight group exercise classes as all of our classes are delivered by qualified physiotherapists. The amount that you get back will depend on your level of cover, and how much you have already used, so you should check your individual circumstances with your health insurance provider.
These are the Physiotherapy which are used, please note they do not come under ‘pilates’ as part of extras cover:
595 – pregnancy fitness classes (Bump&Me Studio and Aqua)
596 – post natal exercise classes (Baby&Me/Toddler&Me Studio and Aqua)
561 – general exercise classes (Empower and Impact)
500 – PregEd workshops
Alternatively we are also able to use the code 560 for classes with less than 6 participants or 561 for classes with more than 6 participants on request. These are general ‘Group Exercise Class’ codes that also fall under the physiotherapy category. Please contact us if you have any further questions.
Receipts for private health rebates are sent via email at the end of each six week course. We cannot provide a claimable receipt for classes that have not been attended.
Please note that online classes and class recordings are not able to be claimed through private health insurance.
